Mepas Mall wanted detailed analytics of their energy consumption, as it represents a significant portion of their total monthly costs. It was the only cost on which they had been unable to achieve any savings, so they opted for energy monitoring.

Our Solution

We installed over 50 measurement points, including temperatures within the facility. After an initial baseline measurement period, we adjusted the HVAC system’s consumption to the working hours, taking into account the requirements of the centre’s tenants. In line with the seasons, the HVAC system settings were also optimised to achieve the lowest possible consumption while maintaining acceptable conditions in the centre. These settings ultimately resulted in a reduction in peak power demand.
